What is OOLA Life Coaching?
Over the years Life Coaching industry has taken a serious fall. It seems that anyone can become a Life Coach, and the amount of bad information out there is disheartening. Is coaching the same as therapy?
No it's not. Therapy focuses on your past; healing wounds, traumas and toxic behaviours to help you get unstuck where you currently are. Trained therapist address mental health issues and can prescribe medications. Coaches cannot.
Coaching focuses on helping you cultivate self-awareness, and what is causing you to be stuck right now so we can propel you forwards. Coaching is future focused, whereas therapy is past focused.
Who is coaching for?
During each session we will talk about your prior week and set goals for the coming week. Together we will tackle what is working and what isn’t to come up with new course of action tailored to you to achieve big goals
What is needed for successful coaching?
Your coaching success is as much dependan on me as it is you, You have to be willing to be vunrable, and honest with yourself during the sessions. Honorouing and prioritising your commitments to yourself, while allowing me to hold you accountable is how your will seriously up-level your life.
How long is each session?
The 10-Week program consist of 1:1, 60 minutes, weekly coaching sessions along with a weekly module that you can do on your own. You can expect to spend roughly 5-6 hours a week learning, coaching and implementing your new strategies. Of course, as these new strategies turn into new habits your time and commitment will lesson. But to start, come prepared to do the hard work.
